Developmental Disability Resources

Developmental disabilities are a group of conditions that involve impairment in physical, learning, language, and/or behavioral abilities. These conditions are present at birth and may be diagnosed right away, or later in childhood as a delay or deficit is noticed while the child develops alongside their peers. Many children with developmental disabilities require support and accommodations in their early childhood years, as they progress through school, and as they transition into adulthood.
